We don't sell any guide yet. The sections about buying a guide and refunds below apply once our first guide is on sale.

Nothing on this website, in our videos, in our emails, in our free downloads or in our guides is immigration, legal, tax, financial, insurance, medical or health advice. We are not a law firm, an immigration or tax adviser, a financial adviser or a health professional, and we cannot tell you what applies to your situation. Using our materials does not guarantee any result, such as a visa being approved. Examples with numbers show how a calculation works; they are not predictions of your own costs.

Rules, amounts and procedures change, and they can differ by consulate and by personal situation. Before you make a decision or apply for anything, confirm the details on the official page and with the consulate or authority that handles your case. Free downloads
Our free downloads are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may print them and share them with your family. Please don't sell them or publish them as your own. They are for U.S. residents only: we accept a request for a free download only from an internet connection in the United States. These terms apply to each of them:

We email each free download to the address you enter, together with the emails you agreed to receive when you ticked the box on its page.
Buying a guide
- What you get: a PDF guide, and any add-on you choose at checkout, that you download right after paying. It is a digital product: no printed book will be mailed to you. Each guide shows its edition and the date its information was checked. If an offer includes a future edition, its sales page says so and explains how you receive it.
- Price and payment: prices are in US dollars. Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
- Who can buy: we sell only to customers in the United States. A checkout starts only from an internet connection in the United States. At checkout we also check the country of your billing address and of your card or payment account. If either is outside the United States, we cancel the order before any charge, and your bank releases the hold.
- Delivery: the download buttons appear on the page right after you pay, and we email you the same links. The links work for 30 days.
- Your use: buying a guide gives you a personal license to use it; it does not transfer the copyright. You may download, save and print the guide for yourself and your household. Please don't share the files or the links publicly, resell them, or publish them as your own.
Money-back guarantee and refunds
If a guide is not useful to you, email us at [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase, from the email address of your order or with your order details, and we will refund the full price you paid, including any sales tax. No questions asked. The refund goes back to the card or account you paid with; most banks show it within 5 to 10 business days. After a refund, the download links of that order stop working.
If something is wrong with your order, please write to us first. We can usually fix it quickly, and a refund reaches you faster than a dispute with your bank.

Emails
If you sign up, we send you the emails you agreed to, starting with a short series of welcome emails. If you buy a guide, we email you your download links and a few follow-up emails about your guide. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing does not affect a guide you bought: you can still download it and get new links.
Links to other websites
We link to official websites so you can check our sources. We are not responsible for their content.
Liability
We provide the website, the free materials and the guides as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of them.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the consumer protection laws of the United States or of your state.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
